Eligibility for B.Ed. Course
The minimum qualification required for admission in B.Ed. course is a Graduate/Post Graduate (B.A./M.A., B.Sc./M.Sc. or B.Com./M.Com.) of recognized universities completed the three years degree / post graduated course declared by the Govt. of Rajasthan. Rajasthan PTET secured 50% marks for General /EWS categories and 45% marks for reserve category (SC, ST, OBC, MBC, Physically Challenged and WIDOW or DIVORCE Women Candidates) and 50% marks in aggregate for all candidates from out of Rajasthan are eligible for B.Ed. Candidate have not studied through 10+2+3 Scheme or 10+1+3(Old Scheme) are not eligible to appear in PTET. Candidates fulfilling the admission qualifications mentioned in the guidelines available on the website of PTET are eligible to apply. Most of the PTET Examination form fills up in the month of February or March & PTET Examination is conducted in the month of April, May or June.
Admission in B.Ed. Course
The admission to B.Ed. full time regular course is done through P.T.E.T. Entrance Test conducted by Rajasthan PTET. All the information related to the PTET Examination will be released only on the PTET official site.
Rajasthan PTET 2022 Syllabus & Exam Pattern: - A total of 200 questions will be asked for 600 marks in B.Ed. entrance test in Rajasthan. Type of Questions is MCQ. There is no negative marking. Three hours are given for the written test. It is mandatory for the student to score 40% marks in the written examination of PTET. The PTET Entrance exam mainly focus on objective type questions on subjects like

- Teaching Attitude & Aptitude:- 50 Questions (150 Marks)
- General Awareness:- 50 Questions (150 Marks)
- Language Proficiency (English or Hindi):- 50 Questions (150 Marks)
The results of PTET exam is generally declared by July OR August. Merit list, registration and after filling the college choice, the college is allotted and after that the counseling round takes place in the college. Candidates undergo practical training courses apart from theory classes.
